Resources for parents and community members

There is no single solution when addressing bullying behaviours. It needs families and schools to work together. The strongest take home message is for parents to work alongside their school, while also doing everything they can to protect, support and defend their child.

These resources focus on supporting the families of young people experiencing bullying. They also offer starting points and guidance to help families where their own child is engaging in bullying behaviours. Whether it is a young person experiencing bullying or a young person engaging in bullying behaviours, repairing the relational damage that results from bullying is an important goal.

The resources have been developed by Real Schools in consultation with the Department of Education.
